Welcome to the village of Sandon in Hertfordshire, England.
Sandon is one of the highest villages in Hertfordshire being some 150 metres above sea level, on the eastern end of the Chiltern Hills. The village is walking, and cycling country and is famously on the route of the Icknield Way, the great prehistoric cross-country highway from Buckinghamshire to Suffolk. The parish includes about 200 houses and Cambridge, Baldock, Royston, Stevenage, the A1 and the A10 are all nearby. Lots of animals also live here but sadly, our white goose no longer does.
This website is run by the Sandon Parish Council. We hope it mostly works…
